Troop 20 schedules a camp every summer - it is a great opportunity for the new Scouts to meet the Troop and get started, and for existing Scouts to earn merit badges.

Mataguay - Summer ‘08

FAQ’s:

 

·          When: 21-26 July 2008 (Monday through Saturday)

 

·          Parent Help:  Help is needed from Parent to ensure 2 deep leadership at a minimum is available at all times. 

 

·          Eagle Camp: Program for those working on Eagle.  More information in the Links at right.

 

·          Pathfinders: Program for those new to the Troop to make significant progress towards their 2nd and 1st Class Rank badges.

 

·          Merit Badges: Mataguay offers over 40 merit badges.  Some require pre-requisite work or have a nominal fee; info in links at right.  Send info to Dan Greer by 7/6 on the merit badges/schedule so he can log into the web site.  This is the deadline (2 weeks prior) mandated by the council so that the camp can plan to have counselors available.

 

·          What to take: Links at right have lists of stuff to take along

 

·          Payment: $275 fee, Adults are $120 for the week.  We get one free adult for the group, but need two parents/leader at all times. 

 

·          Aviation Merit Badge: Need to know if what Scouts will be flying by 7/3 so they can make reservations/plans, $40 a scout , $65 adults
