Twelve Scouts with Troop 20 had the opportunity to spend the day at Northrop-Grumman’s Unmanned Systems facility in Rancho Bernardo, which manufactures the Global Hawk, Fire Scout, UCAS, and Hunter UAV’s.  Along with 80 other scouts, they toured the labs, made model planes, attended workshops, sprayed water from a fire engine hose and rode in a USMC MRAP armored vehicle.  Along the way learned a bit about the Engineering Profession and what is involved in developing a high-technology product.
