Troop 20 started the Scout Year by completing advancement requirements, Scoutmaster conferences and Boards of Review in preparation for a Court of Honor.  The Court was held during a campout at Mataguay Scout Reservation. 

 

We invited Pack 20 Webelos scouts to come along and had a great turnout.  In all, 11 scouts and an equal number of adults attended.  Some drove up on Friday night and others on Saturday morning, stopping at the Denny’s in Romona for a big breakfast.

 

A service project had been arranged for Saturday, with the scouts helping to begin the rehab of two cabins as well as doing some roadside drainage control maintenance.  In addition to the work, the scouts had some fun with tug-a-war and capture the flag.  The campsite was at  Cubland near the A-frame at Mataguay.
