Seven scouts and four adults met at the Scout Room on Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM: Nick A., Stephen, Clayton, Mikey and their Dads, as well as Nick H, John T. and Tem. After getting our gear together we drove through murderous traffic up Interstate 15, stopping on I-215 near Sun City for dinner at the Yellow Basket. We arrived in Big Bear after 8:00 PM and checked into our Condo office (Alpine Village Suites) to get the keys and then on to our place near Snow Summit. The Condo had beds and a fold-out sofa for 10 and the balcony opened onto the Snow Summit Parking lot with a magnificent view of the slopes. Awesome. We literally walked across the lot to go skiing and snowboarding. We got our boards on Friday night and we ready to go first thing Saturday morning when the slopes opened. We skied and snowboarded Saturday and Sunday, and hung out at the Condo for dinner and TV in the evening.
