A group of ten met at the Scout Room on Friday afternoon 26 January 2007 around 5:30 PM for a 6PM departure: John T., Tem, Mike, Josh, Clay and Steven, as well as parents Dan, Mike, Mark, and Dave. We made good time through lighter than expected traffic and stopped for dinner at a McDonald's in Sun City on the I-215. We arrived at Big Bear Lake around 9:15 PM in time to get skis and boards before the rental shop on the main drag closed at 10PM. We picked up the cabin keys from an all-night alarm place and settled into our cabin.

The cabin was a four bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story place with a full kitchen. The boys stayed up until late hours playing cards and billiards on the small pool table. The weather turned out to be very nice and all the slopes and lifts were open.

Dinner was spaghetti cooked at the cabin. Another evening of TV, cards and playing pool.

Some stayed for skiing on Sunday while others started home after clean up and pack up.
