Quartermaster
Description: The Quartermaster is the supply and equipment boss. He keeps a current inventory of troop equipment and sees that it is in good condition. He ensures that the Scout Room is kept clean and works with the SPL to organize working parties to clean it and make any needed repairs.
Responsible to: Assistant Senior
Patrol Leader (and works with the troop committee member responsible for
equipment)
Qualifications:
Must demonstrate rank and/or merit badge advancement in prior twelve months.
Specific
Duties:
- Keep
records of patrol and troop equipment.
- Keep
equipment in good repair.
- Deep
equipment storage area neat and clean.
- Issue
equipment and see that it is returned in good order.
- Suggest
new and/or replacement items.
- Work
with troop committee member responsible for equipment.
- Set a
good example.
- Wear
the uniform correctly.
- Live
by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Show
and help develop Scout spirit.
