Troop Historian
Description: The Historian collects and preserves troop photographs, news stories, trophies flags, scrapbooks, awards, and other memorabilia.
Responsible
to: Assistant senior patrol leader
Qualifications:
Must demonstrate rank and/or merit badge advancement in prior twelve months.
Specific
Duties:
- Gather
pictures and facts about past activities of the troop and keep them in
scrapbooks, wall displays, or information files.
- Submit photos and written material to the webmaster for posting on the Troop Website as appropriate.
- Take
care of troop trophies and keepsakes.
- Keep
information about troop alumni.
- Set a
good example.
- Wear
the uniform correctly.
- Live
by the Scout Oath and Law.
- Show
and help develop Scout spirit
