Coming Up:

June 1 - regular meeting (7-8pm) - Summer planning meeting

June 8 - regular meeting (7-8pm) - Gear check and final planning for Outing on June 11-13.  ALL SCOUTS MUST BRING GEAR, including clothes to the meeting.

June 12-13 - Backpacking overnight - Location to be determined.  This will be a more aggressive and longer hike to prepare for later trips.  Locations to be discussed at tomorrow night's meeting. 

June 15 - last regular meeting (7-8pm) - TBD

June 20 (Sunday) (8:30am-) - Father's Day pancake brunch at SD County Fair celebrating 100 years in Scouting.  Details for those that are interested will be provided at meeting.

June 26 (Saturday) (6am-11:30am) - Santee Firefighter's fishing derby.  Preregistration required by 6/24 for those that are interested.  More info to be provided at meeting.

7-14 August - Sierra Trip

15-21 August - Emerald Bay

Troop 20 has a long history in Mission Hills, reaching back to 1918.  We meet on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM in the Scout Room at the Mission Hills United Methodist Church at 4040 Lark Street.   Troop meetings are Scout-led and adult -supervised.  The Scouts plan and organize their activities with advice and logistics support from the adult leaders and parents.  Activities range from week-long summer wilderness backpacking treks to weekend events, as well as service projects and Court of Honor Dinners.

To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
